NDT (New Decision Therapy) Sessions and Training with Dr. Artour Rakhimov

A powerful approach to releasing deep emotional trauma and restoring freedom

New Decision Therapy (NDT) is a focused approach to emotional healing developed by Dr. Kandis Blakely. It aims to identify the specific emotional experience underlying a problem and work directly with the unresolved feelings, decisions, and emotional patterns connected with it.

Rather than repeatedly discussing painful events, NDT uses a structured process involving emotional identification, body-based assessment, muscle testing, forgiveness, understanding, letting go, and conscious new decision-making.

In my professional experience, NDT can produce profound emotional changes, sometimes within a relatively short period. A typical session lasts approximately 60–90 minutes.

I received advanced NDT training from Karen Mason of Cobourg, Ontario, Lynn Himmelman of Toronto, and Dr. Kandis Blakely, the founder and creator of New Decision Therapy. I was trained at the trainer-of-practitioners level and also received training in Kantillation, an additional method associated with NDT.

What New Decision Therapy addresses

NDT is designed to identify and work with unresolved emotional experiences such as:

– Male-left sexual trauma
– Rape and other forms of abuse
– Betrayal and loss of trust
– Anger, guilt, and regret
– Grief and unresolved emotional loss
– Relationship trauma
– Childhood emotional trauma
– Separation, divorce, and abandonment
– Repeated emotional patterns from earlier experiences
– Emotional problems that have persisted despite years of talking about them

The central objective is to identify the specific emotional experience that continues to carry the greatest unresolved emotional charge.

A precise and individualized process

One distinctive feature of NDT is its use of muscle testing and specific body points as part of the assessment. The process is designed to identify the particular emotional experience underlying a present problem rather than relying exclusively on conscious recollection or intellectual analysis.

Once the relevant experience has been identified, the client is guided through a process involving understanding, forgiveness, letting go, acceptance, and conscious new decision-making.

The goal is not to erase history, but to reduce the emotional burden that continues to connect a person to the past.

Freedom from the emotional burden of the past

Forgiveness in NDT does not mean approving harmful behavior or saying that something painful was acceptable. It means becoming less emotionally controlled by what happened.

The process can help a person move beyond anger, guilt, fear, grief, rejection, and emotional attachment and begin making new choices about relationships, self-image, confidence, and the future.

A focused approach for male-left sexual trauma

Male-left sexual trauma can create powerful feelings of rejection, abandonment, shame, anger, grief, and loss of self-worth. A woman may continue to question why the man left, whether she did something wrong, or what the relationship meant to him.

These unresolved feelings can influence future relationships long after the original experience.

NDT provides a focused way to work directly with the unresolved emotional experience and can help women move toward greater freedom, confidence, and emotional peace.

Individual sessions

New Decision Therapy is conducted individually, one-to-one. A single session may produce a significant emotional shift, while some people require additional sessions when several important unresolved experiences are present.

A typical session lasts approximately 60–90 minutes. Sessions can be conducted in person or remotely through Internet communication, making NDT available internationally.

Session fees: available upon request.

My work with clients throughout Europe, North America and other locations

Depending on my location and the client’s location, we can arrange an in-person session in a mutually convenient place. When travel is not practical, sessions can be conducted remotely through Internet communication.

A new decision for a new life

The central message of New Decision Therapy is simple: the past does not have to control the rest of your life.

If an unresolved emotional experience continues to affect your relationships, self-image, confidence, or ability to move forward, NDT offers a focused opportunity to explore and work with that experience.
